Mercedes Lara Stefano Bonnacci Ignacio Canales Aracil Oliver Czarnetta Toshiro Yamaguchi.
Five artists from different nationalities; five artists who use very different artistic techniques; worth knowing whose work can not miss.
Mercedes Lara presented his work “Open Books”, a magnificent composition of 10 small books made with paper thin porcelain with gold threads sewn. A detailed work , denoting the delicacy of the artist, always prevalent in his work. The ceramic is a material very worked by Mercedes Lara. “Someone close to me started playing with clay and I thought that porcelain could be the ‘container’ of what he was doing before.” A container, in the words of the artist is a place “where you can stop time in a small space and enjoy small things like the fragility of handmade porcelain”.
